Privacy Policy

The short version

• There are no job-seeker accounts. You can browse and apply without giving us anything.
• We set no advertising or analytics cookies of our own.
• The only personal data we deliberately store is what you type into our contact form.
• We never sell personal data.

What we collect

If you use the contact form

We store the name, email address, topic and message you submit, so that we can read and reply to it. It is kept in our own database and is visible only to the site operator. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not use it for marketing.

Server logs

Like any website, our web server records technical request information — including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. These logs exist for security and debugging (for example, blocking abuse) and are not used to build a profile of you.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or store CVs, cover letters, phone numbers, or employment history. When you click through to apply, you leave JobsForge — anything you enter on the employer's site is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

Cookies

JobsForge sets no cookies of its own for analytics, advertising or tracking. The site works without them.

Advertising

We do not currently display advertising. We intend to fund the site with Google AdSense, and when advertising is enabled the following will apply, so it is disclosed here in advance:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

This section will be updated to present tense, and a consent mechanism added for visitors in regions that require one, on the day ads are switched on.

Where your data goes

The site and its database run on a single private server operated on our behalf by a hosting provider. Contact-form messages are not sent to any third-party email or CRM service — they stay in our database. We do not transfer personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept while they are useful for support and correspondence, and are deleted on request. Server logs rotate on a short cycle as part of normal server operation.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email gaddambharadwaj554@gmail.com or use the contact form. Because we hold so little, these requests are usually simple to honour. Depending on where you live you may also have rights under laws such as the GDPR or similar legislation; we will respect them.

Children

JobsForge is intended for people of working age and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Links to employers

Every listing links to a third-party site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies before submitting an application.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes — such as enabling advertising or analytics — will be described here before or at the time they take effect.
